Hello everyone. Life has gotten in the way and I don’t think I’ll get the WN chapter done by tonight… Hopefully I’ll get it out fairly early tomorrow, but the DD chapter will also be delayed a a consequence.

Guess what: I passed the hardest of my exams! Now nothing can stop me from starting my final degree project next week – hurray!

P.S. Sorry for the completely irrelevant outburst but I just had to get it out of my system… Chapter and surprise coming later today, as promised ^.^

Hello everyone!

So, the next chapter – the first of volume 5 – required a bit more prep work from me than I had expected. I changed my mind a couple of times about how I wanted to start it and as a consequence I’m barely halfway done by now. Normal days I would say “Fuck it!”, grit my teeth and keep writing into the night – usually getting done before the first “late dead-line” – but since I’m in the middle of exams I can’t really afford a sleepless night and the ramifications it would bring.

But, fear not; I may need my sleep, but I will continue writing tomorrow – during my study breaks – so the chapter shouldn’t be more than a day late, maybe even less than that.

Sorry for the disappointment, but hopefully it will be worth the wait 😉

30 minutes ago, due to numerous unforeseen complications, my beloved Issildur had to be put down.

I have had many cats over years but none as cuddly and lovable as Issildur was. I’m having a hard time grasping that he won’t be nuzzling his way under the bed sheets to sleep next to me ever again, nor will he claim his undisputed spot in my lap whenever I sit down to watch TV… He will be dearly missed.

Rest, my dear Issildur – rest in peace.

Needless to say, I wouldn’t be too expectant on a chapter tonight…

Yet again there were problems with the link updates. . . . I’m sorry for the disappointment you all must have felt – I will try to figure out a better system for this so it doesn’t happen again!

The last couple of days have been somewhat off an emotional roller-coaster for me… After traveling to several different clinics and a much more serious operation than expected, my cat – Issildur – is finally healthy enough to come home for a couple of days. The next 8 weeks will be devoted to rehabilitation of his leg but when all is said and done, Issildur should be back to normal (a bit stiffer though).

I’m on may way to the vet now (in the neighboring city!) but as soon as I get home I’ll get back to work with the next chapter ^.^ 

I am sorry for the delay (with both the chapter and dealing with all the corrections I’ve gotten for the previous ones)! I would be lying if I said that every waking hour the last few days have been devoted to my cat, but I just haven’t been able to concentrate enough to get anything worth while done…

Yesterday morning one of my cats broke his leg and it turns out its really bad… I’m not sure what will happen but there might not be a chapter tomorrow. Sorry. 

Finally a neighbor of mine let me in as they left for an early shift – hurray!! Unfortunately I also have work tomorrow (or rather today T.T) so I need to sleep the few hours left of the “night” and then head out again. As such, the chapter will be delayed quite a bit more… I’ll count it as a regular one though, to compensate.

Believe it or not but I just got locked out of my apartment building… I went to buy food to sustain me for the last burst of writing and now that I’m back the door-thingy doesn’t work

Fortunately the weather is good….

(if it isn’t clear: since my computer is left inside I won’t be able to continue writing until solved the door problem. I can write on my phone but the mobile editor for WordPress is an absolute nightmare, so I’d rather not)
