Here comes Chapter 35: The Dare
Since it was delayed Pandas hasn’t really been given a chance to edit it yet, FYI.

The holiday’s are closing in and right after that I have three mayor exams coming along so I am going to take a short break of two to three weeks were there most likely won’t be very many, if any, chapters released. I had hoped to build up a little buffer of chapters so that I could keep releasing them at a steady pace anyway but that has failed – better luck next time, ay?

Anyhow, I hope you can forgive this little pause and that you will be back in 2016 for the continuing of the story ^.^

I’ve been trying to keep to a once-every-four-days schedule and I’m almost pulling it of. Today I release the next chapter, Chapter 34: Imperial Banquet, on schedule but before Pandas has had a chance to help with the editing…. I’m sorry for being so last minute this time Pandas!

So, basically, if you’re picky, wait a day or so before reading cause there will be errorz!

Btw, if anyone of you are watching the Nobel Prize dinner on TV in a few hours then you might catch a glimpse of me – I’ll be working in the flag parade during the desert toasts ^.^ Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that I don’t faint from standing up too long or drop my 3 kg flag on some unsuspecting guest below (if the eighth flag on the balcony falls, it wasn’t me…)

I had intended to wait until after New Years before letting any eventual donations affect my release speed but I just got my very first donation and to celebrate I decided to make an exception ^.^

So, some of the more observant (aka bird nerdy) of you might have noticed that I base all the names of characters born in Sky Empire on various bird species. Well, little Hoatzin is no different – I picked his name because it stuck out in a list of birds’ names and the bird itself looked pretty cool, visually.

I did no further research into the creature, until now, when it was time to decide what shape Hoatzin’s spirit body should take, and guess what – the hoatzin, aka the stinkbird, is a very unique bird. It is famous for it viscous smell and clumsy flying skills.

Supposedly, it smells (and tastes) so bad that no human will even consider to hunt it, and it takes so long for its chicks to learn how to fly that the bird has developed temporary claws to help them get up trees…

Now I just wish I’d saved the name for some insufferable jerk later on so that Raven could have used said “Your parents picked you name well…” or “You outdo your namesake…” or, or… Argh so many options, and their wasted! T_T

Okay, this chapter got done quicker than I expected – hurray! Since I know some of you are impatient I will release it first and proofread it during the evening (picky people must be patient people :P).

Also, this weekend I’m out of town so I most likely there won’t be a new chapter until the beginning of next week.

I promised on the 9th that I would release a chapter “tomorrow”, that is to say on the 10th… Now, technically, it’s waaay past midnight where I am, BUT according to the public transportation system in my city (Stockholm) I am still, kind of, on the 10th since the day-tickets valid on the 10th still work… for another 20 minutes anyway…

So I have, kind of, kept my promise because here comes a, kind of, on time Chapter 11: …Or Not To Help? that is, kind of, proofread; I will fix errors tomorrow afternoon, so if you are picky, wait.
